This page explains how to request deletion of personal information and social-media integration data handled by TCPEL, including data associated with an authorized Facebook Page or Instagram professional account connection.
1. Submit a Deletion Request
Email [email protected] with the subject line Social Media Data Deletion Request. To help us locate the correct records, include only the information reasonably needed to identify the connection:
- the supported platform involved (for example, Facebook or Instagram);
- the connected account, Page name, username, or platform identifier, if known;
- the approximate date the account was connected or last used; and
- the email address or business contact associated with the request.
Do not send your Facebook, Instagram, email, or other account password, an access token, a one-time security code, or a copy of unnecessary identity documents.
2. Revoke Platform Access
You may revoke TCPEL’s access directly through the connected Facebook or Instagram account settings. Revocation stops future use of the revoked authorization but may not by itself remove records already retained for legitimate operational, security, or legal purposes. If you also want TCPEL-held data deleted, submit the request described above.
3. Identity and Authority Verification
To protect users and connected business assets, TCPEL may ask for limited information to confirm that the requester is the account holder, an authorized Page or Business administrator, or another person legally entitled to make the request. We will not ask for a platform password or access token. If we cannot reasonably verify the request, we may ask for clarification before taking action.
4. What TCPEL Will Review and Delete
After a verified request, TCPEL will identify data reasonably associated with the relevant integration and delete or render inaccessible the data that is not required to be retained. Depending on the connection and prior activity, this may include:
- stored OAuth access tokens or equivalent authorization credentials;
- connected account, Page, professional-account, or platform identifiers;
- saved publishing content, captions, media references, schedules, and destination selections;
- publication results and integration status records; and
- limited technical or operational logs that can reasonably be linked to the connection.
Where technically appropriate, authorization credentials will be invalidated or removed so they can no longer be used by the TCPEL service.
5. Processing Time
TCPEL will normally complete a verified deletion request within 30 days. If additional time is reasonably required because of request complexity, security verification, technical restoration cycles, or applicable law, TCPEL will provide an update using the contact information supplied with the request.
6. Limited Retention and Backups
Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect security, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or maintain essential business records. Residual copies may remain temporarily in access-restricted backups until those backups are overwritten through normal retention cycles. Retained data will not be used for unrelated purposes.
7. Confirmation and Questions
When processing is complete, TCPEL will respond through the request channel where reasonably practicable. For questions about a deletion request, contact:
