Upstream size reduction
A feed hammer mill prepares raw material. It does not produce finished feed pellets, mixed feed or packed feed by itself.
Downstream processing
Ground material may move to a feed mixer where mixing is required, then to a feed pellet machine for pelletizing.
How a Feed Hammer Mill Works
Feed material enters the grinding chamber, where rotating hammers apply impact. Material and chamber collisions continue the size-reduction process. Smaller material passes through the screen, while larger particles remain in the chamber for further grinding.
Changeable screens help control grinding fineness. Exact screen-hole size and final particle-size performance must be confirmed for the selected model and project; no universal output-size value is published.
